After the tube has been opened, how long does it last?

The product can be stored for two years and once it is opened, a minimum of one year. Always check before discarding the product, as a portion of it may still be usable.

Is it UV resistant?

Yes. The tests have been proven for several years in the Caribbean region.

Is it possible to re-glue the bumpers, handles and attachments for the oars?

Yes. Clean well to remove the old glue on the parts and follow the instructions for repairing. The product also helps to prevent any air infiltration from a seam.

Is it possible to repair a high-pressure floor?

Yes. By following the instructions.

Can I repair water damage coming around the transom?

Yes. Most of the time, it is better to completely remove the transom, cleaning off the old glue. So, repair one side of the boat at first. Then 24 hours later, on the opposite side, following the instructions.

Can I repair a paddle board and/or a raft with this product?

Yes. Any craft made of PVC or Hypalon could be easily and securely repaired with this product.

Can I glue a piece of PVC on Hypalon (or vice versa) with this product?

Yes. This adhesive allows these two materials to be glued together, following the instructions.

Can I glue the towing rings back on?

The strength of the repair made with this product allows it to withstand the pressure and stress exerted by towing.

Is the product allowed on an aircraft?

The glue is solvent-free and can be carried in your luggage stored in the baggage compartment of the aircraft.

Can I seal a portlight?

Yes. First, remove all the old glue. For wood and fiberglass surfaces, sand lightly. Then, clean with acetone and let evaporate completely. Continue the repair following the instructions.

Is it possible to do a repair on aluminum, rubber, wood or fiberglass surfaces?

Yes. For wood and fiberglass, lightly sand first. Then, for all these surfaces, remove the old glue, clean well with acetone and let evaporate completely. Continue the repair following the instructions.

At what temperature should a repair be carried out using Final Fix?

The ideal temperature is between 15 and 30 degrees, simply depending on your own comfort. The product is distinguished by the fact that its use at room temperature does not require any calculation of the humidity level. The important things are to make sure to proceed in a well-ventilated area and to follow the instructions.
